Porsche Panamera Wagon Concept Will Make Headlines at Paris Motor Show

Brand new Porsche designs do not appear very often and can take many years of design and development before becoming an official production vehicle. The introduction of the four-door Porsche Panamera was one of those rare times and Bert Smith Porsche was as excited then to offer the new sedan as we are now about the forthcoming Panamera wagon concept.

Many auto buyers will respond in similar fashion when asked what they want from the next generation of specific vehicle, mainly "more room." Porsche Panamera owners are no different and Porsche sees no reason not to at least test the idea of a wagon version. Details are sparse as the concept is set to debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September. We do know that, even if well received by the crowds in France, the model will likely stay a concept for a few more years, potentially delaying a production run until 2016.

Instant gratification of a production model won't stop people from enjoying the fully built concept on the floor of the show, however. Neither will it stop us from reporting on the latest news and developments on the Porsche Panamera wagon or any other Porsche model to be honest. Porsche news is what we delight in sharing to our St. Petersburg, Tampa, Sarasota and beyond drivers.
