2014 Porsche Cayman Makes Stylish World Debut at Los Angeles Auto Show

Nothing says sexy and stylish quite like a Porsche- especially when that model is brand-new and features some of the most power available on the market. Recently, at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, the luxury sports car brand will debut its 2014 Porsche Cayman, along with its sporty "S" variant.

2014 Cayman and Cayman S Standout Specs.:

  • Powerful Insides: The standard 2014 Porsche Cayman is equipped with the Porsche Boxster's 2.7-liter, direct-inject flat six-cylinder engine in its base format. This engine produces 275 horsepower and reaches up to 165 mph. The spicier Porsche Cayman S, for its part, features the same engine as the Porsche 911 Carrera and Porsche Boxster S: a direct-injected 3.4-liter flat six-cylinder that produces 375 horsepower and can reach speeds up to 175 mph. Both vehicles come standard with a six-speed manual transmission, with an optional PDK seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
  • Lightning-Fast Speeds: The regular Cayman can travel 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds with the manual transmission and 5.3 seconds with the PDK transmission. These times drop to 4.7 seconds and 4.6 seconds with the Cayman S variant.
  • Expected Pricing: Pricing has yet to be announced, but expect at least $54,000 for the base Cayman model (including destination fees) and $64,000 for the Cayman S model.
